I hope you are all doing well and have enjoyed your summer break – even if for most of us this probably wasn’t the vacation we had hoped for. I got to explore new areas of my own country, Denmark, which was surprisingly pleasant despite the Danish weather not giving us too much sun and warmth.
Coming back to work not only means cleaning up stuffed inboxes and getting back into the daily routine, but also starting to plan for next year’s ECCO’21 Copenhagen Congress. Abstract submission is open, and we hope that all Y-ECCO Members will share their best research with the ECCO Community next year. As always, we will award the top five abstracts submitted by Y-ECCO Members with free registration for the following ECCO Congress and they will receive an honourable mention on all days of the ECCO Congress.
Please consider joining our Y-ECCO Basic Science Workshop next year as well. The workshop is entitled “Basic Science Networks” and takes place on Wednesday, July 7, 2021. We will select six abstracts by Y-ECCO Members for presentation during the workshop’s two sessions on “System biology” and “Modelling IBD”. So, please keep this in mind when you submit your abstracts and don’t forget to tick the box to indicate that you are willing to present your non-clinical abstract at our workshop. We would love to see you there!
Stay safe!
