9th N-ECCO Research Forum

The N-ECCO Consensus statements have highlighted the need for adequate nursing research to demonstrate the value of the specialist nursing role in the care of patients with Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD). The success of this Europe-wide nursing collaboration has provided momentum and an opportunity for nurses to connect on this matter, with N-ECCO having hosted the inaugural N-ECCO Research Forum for nurses at the ECCO’14 Copenhagen Congress.

The aims of the first meeting were to encourage networking between nurses across Europe and internationally, to share development, design and delivery of nurse research, to promote collaboration of research nurse studies, and to mentor new nurses in research within IBD.
