Welcome to the 17th Congress of ECCO!
Despite the challenges that prevented us from holding a physical Congress, we are very excited to have our whole ECCO Family on board again for a virtual Congress.

After looking into “IBD precise”, this year it is time for “Navigating the Oceans of IBD”.
Among the highlights of the ECCO’22 Scientific Programme are topics like:
“Developing environment recipes for IBD”, “Keeping the patient at home: Is telemedicine the future?”, “Aiming high with treatment goals in IBD: The modern Icarus?”, Do we see light at the end of the fistula track?” and many more interesting topics.
This year’s Basic Science Session will reveal more about "From basic science to practical approach”, while the ECCO Lecture given by Prof. Séverine Vermeire will bring us back in time with “A European IBD voyage”.
