- Manage the ECCO Fellowships, Grants and Travel Awards programme
- Provide input and oversight for the scientific programme of the ECCO Congress
- Curate the Scientific Education Workshop at the ECCO Congress
- Interact with other ECCO Committees
- Contribute to the IBD programme for UEGW
- Stimulate scientific interactions with the ECCO community and beyond
