Sustaining Network, Sharing Knowledge: the Nurse Committee of ECCO, presents the Train the Trainer (ToT) programme designed for nurse-physician teams as
a two-day in-person training and networking with peers in Vienna.

Programme structure
  • Two-days’ training and networking in English, in Vienna, Austria, including two nights’ accommodation and standard travel, as well as meals during the training.
  • Introduction to the ECCO Nurse IBD Curriculum from the ECCO e-Learning platform.
  • Tools and resources: 
    • N-ECCO Consensus Statement
    • Check lists, Operational documents templates
    • Informal network via the ECCO Nurse National Representatives
First ToT in Vienna – Eligibility Criteria
  • Good command of English
  • Minimum three years of experience in IBD field
  • Nurse-physician team currently working within the same IBD center/unit
  • ECCO Membership 2026

Global applications encouraged 

Applications from low- and lower-middle income countries are welcomed! 

Reimbursement

ECCO is covering travel and accommodation costs for all selected participants:

  • ECCO organises the accommodation and meals during the programme.
  • Travel is organised by the participants themselves.
  • The reimbursement for travel costs per person is EUR 500.- inside the EU and EUR 700.- for overseas travel- (includes flight, train, taxi, mileage).
