In this new episode of Meet the JCC Authors, I had the pleasure of speaking with Sara El Ouali about her recent publication in the Journal of Crohn’s and Colitis titled: “Ustekinumab for ileal stricturing Crohn’s disease—an international multicenter retrospective cohort study.”

We discussed the challenges of managing fibrostenosing Crohn’s disease, the role of Ustekinumab in biologic-experienced patients, and the urgent unmet need for effective anti-fibrotic therapies. It was a very insightful conversation with important clinical and research implications for the future of stricturing Crohn’s disease management.
