It is our pleasure to present a new Meet the Reps interview, this time featuring Austria’s ECCO National Representative, Andreas Blesl.
In this conversation, we explore the current landscape of IBD care in Austria, including its strengths and remaining challenges, as well as ongoing developments in research, education and clinical practice. We also discuss the increasing complexity and multidisciplinary nature of IBD care, the relationship between the Austrian IBD community and ECCO, and opportunities to further strengthen collaboration and engagement, particularly among younger colleagues. Finally, Andreas shares his perspective on the future of IBD care in Austria and the developments he hopes to see in the years ahead. We hope you enjoy the interview!
