Dear ECCO Members,
I'm excited to share some great news about our e-Learning platform. As we settle into the cozy winter season, I encourage you to explore the latest additions to the ECCO e-Learning platform.
You may recall our Spring e-Learning Tour video, which highlighted the platform's key features. If you haven't seen it yet, I invite you to watch it below.
I am pleased to announce the introduction of new and updated content on our e-Learning platform:
- The Advanced Training Programme in Ultrasound, which enhances healthcare professional skills in using intestinal ultrasound (IUS) for managing IBD. It covers various aspects of IUS, including indications, techniques, anatomy, disease assessment, and special techniques like transperineal ultrasound and contrast-enhanced ultrasound. Participants will learn to interpret ultrasound images, measure bowel wall thickness, and identify disease activity, extent, and complications. The course is be highly practical, relying on extensive video material to illustrate key concepts and techniques.
- The ECCO e-Guide has recently been updated, so make sure to check it out! In case this is the first time you hear about the e-Guide, it is a freely-accessible online platform for Healthcare Professionals in IBD, which aims to visualise the ECCO Guidelines as algorithms based primarily on the main UC and CD Guidelines of ECCO.
