Call for Participants: The 19th IBD Intensive Course for Trainees

The 19th ECCO Intensive Course for Trainees (previously named IBD Intensive Advanced Course) designed for residents, fellows in gastroenterology and junior faculty will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark, on July 7, 2021, immediately prior to our next Congress. We are pleased to inform you that the preliminary programme for this course is already available.

Since ECCO wants to make the course as attractive as possible for participants, we limit the general number of participants for each ECCO Member Country to two, which will ensure a more interactive atmosphere. Three seats will be open for countries with a population of over 50 million (Italy, France, Germany, Russia, United Kingdom and Turkey).

Minimum criteria for nominees:

  • ECCO Member status (2021)
  • Trainees in at least their third year, with preferably one year of GI experience
  • Should demonstrate a sufficient level of English to follow the course
